Enriching lives is beyond ‘just an idea’; it is a finely woven web of mindful choices and purposeful decisions that defines a personal journey which is unique for each one of us.
It is a constant process of enhancing the quality of our lives, nurturing social bonds, and discovering meaning and purpose in our everyday experiences. This awareness is further influenced by the state of our well-being and living surroundings as we navigate through different stages of life.
The journey toward enriching lives is an ongoing pursuit, a continual refinement of our existence. These moments are influenced by the evolving dynamics in environments as we progress through life stages.Enriching Lives unfolds across four dimensions:
“Meaning” and “purpose” are often used interchangeably but have distinct connotations. Meaning is the profound sense that life holds significance, typically stemming from an innate intuition that our existence bears importance. “Purpose,” on the other hand, serves as our internal compass, consistently directing our choices and actions. It guides us towards meaningful objectives, propelling us to make a positive mark on the world and find contentment in our daily existence. As we unearth and nurture our purpose, it infuses depth and significance into our life journey.
Being aware of the meaning and purpose of your life is akin to casting a pebble into a pond – it generates ripples that reach beyond your own life, touching the lives of those around you. It’s a transformative force – for you and the community at large. ...Read More

Through six degrees of separation*, we are all connected. While it begins in the close circles, the influence of our connections is extensive.
The immediate close circle influences the individual’s attitudes and behaviours. The individual, the family and the workplace are part of an interdependent continuum. An individual’s decision is impacted by what is happening in their close circle, and vice versa, which effects the community and industry.
*The idea that all of us are connected by a network of six or less social connections, is known as six degrees of separation.

Psychology, sociology, philosophy, cultural science, and even urban planning and design work together to enrich lives. They offer insights into our behaviour, our connections with others, and the creation of intelligent cities that elevate our quality of life. These disciplines are like lighthouses, illuminating the path to improved well-being, deeper connections, and the discovery of meaning in life.
They transform enriching lives from a journey riddled with unknown pathways to one with a well-defined roadmap.
The Enrich Lives (EL) Community is an ABCEL initiative to bring people together, and foster a sense of belongingness. Increasing urban mobility and rising single occupancy households create a need for robust social networks and communities within urban locales. Our initiative intends to nurture empathy driven companionship through peer-to-peer support and exciting shared experiences amongst employees and their family members.
Currently our pilot is launched in the two bustling metros – Mumbai and Bengaluru. Gradually, we aim to expand this across India, and ultimately launch it for the public as well.
